✍ Biografía de The Velvet Underground

The Velvet Underground fue una banda de rock, fundada en Nueva York, Estados Unidos en 1964 y se desintegro en 2009. Fundada por Lou Reed y John Cale.Trayectoria Musical Lou Reed inicio musicalmente tocando en varias bandas antes de iniciar The Velvet Underground, mientras tocaba en otras bandas también era compositor en Pickwick Records, allí fue donde conoció a John Cale, que también había tocado anterior mente para una banda. Coincidieron en tocar para una banda, allí fue donde descubrieron que tenían química para trabajar juntos, y fue cuando buscaron también a Sterling Morrison, a quien Reed había conocido en la universidad y a Angus McLise, vecino de John y Lou . Formaron así The Warlocks, que luego se llamarían The Falling Spikes, con quienes lanzaron “Venus in Furs”, “Heroin”, “Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams”, entre otras.
