✍ Biografía de Avantasia

Avantasia es un grupo de power metal sinfónico con influencias de ópera. Fue en Fulda, Alemania, en el 2000. Está conformada por el vocalista y líder Tobias Sammet, en colaboración de Sascha Paeth, Felix Bohnke y Michael "Miro" Rodenberg. Ganó reconocimiento con sus discos "The Metal Opera", "The Scarecrow", "The Wicked Symphony", "Ghostiights" y "TBA", entre otros. Significado del nombre Avantasia tomó su nombre de una mezcla de dos palabras: Ávalon y Fantasía, lo cual describe "un mundo más allá de la imaginación humana". Inicios de Avantasia en la Música Avantasia comenzó su carrera en 1999 cuando Tobias, entre las giras de su banda Edguy, decide poner en marcha un trabajo conceptual teniendo en mente a músicos y cantantes admirados por él.
